Happy Father's Day!

We have seen lots of protections till now, but we can say Roland Cloud has
one of the most unaffordable protection. User has to stay online during he
is running the software for the authentication, it's not a one time online
activation like other software. No offline usage is supported at all.

We developed a DLL based Roland Cloud server communication emulator. This
allows you to use any cloud based Roland Cloud computer without any
internet connection and expiration like other software you use. It should
be far easir to use for your father.

Cloud has gone, let's feel the clear blue sky.
The challenge of R2R continues!

Does anybody have instructions on how to get this to work? (The Roland Cloud Emulator) When you install it, the installer says "The application may be launched by selecting the installed shortcuts". I can't find any shortcuts. When I try to run Jupiter 8 in FL Studio, I get an 'Unable to read script' popup message, and then an FL Studio message error window that says 'The Fruity Wrapper plugin has caused a critical error while loading its state. It is strongly advised to close the application and restart it, without trying to save your project. You will find a backup history of your projects in the Backup folder in the browser. Please contact your plugin's manufacturer about this problem.'
I was using the JUPITER-8(VST2 64 bit) that I found in the C:\ProgramData\Roland Cloud\JUPITER-8 folder.

Has anybody here actually got any of the Roland plugouts to work? It's hard to tell from the comments.

Pretty cool, R2R!

Very impressive work. R2R always take it to the another level. This work reminds me of AmtEmulator by Painter.
  Resident 20.05.2016 75
Sure, but not that, there are two AMTemulators, this one is like Cloud Emulator (AntiCloud) v.0.07 by PainTer

If you can't speak the language can you not just speak in a language you can rather than spreading wrong English across the internet?
  Moderator 21.01.2012 881 7530
Hey Jaja, what's your problem?

English is an international language, but not everyone speaks it well, that does not mean people cannot try to express themselves even if their English is not perfect. Relax .

Now what 's really stupid in SK777's message is that it is completely off topic, and there for I have to clear it.

Haha, at last! Roland gets punished for such a stupid decision to take their instruments to the cloud. Hopefully we'll see something similar for us mac users. Bigups R2R!
  Resident 20.07.2013 4 1443
ok, now next step protection will be that you can run the software only staying at Roland Corp. site, in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan
stop making sense

Hm their faq say that you can use them offline
  Resident 28.06.2013 1 227
roland says: "Do I need to be online to use these instruments?
You will need to be online whenever the instruments are loaded within the DAW. Once the instruments have loaded and authenticated there is no need to stay online."

this means that you must be connected to the internet every time you start your daw.

pretty inconvenient for the gigging musician.
