- new: changing the legato mode in a pitch module will not stop the voices of a OSC using that module. the voices are retriggered instead, using the new legato mode

- added: File-Browser. using arrow keys up/down plays the sample preview now. Right arrow loads the sample to the current active OSC (of an OSC Tab is active or the selected drum slot if the drumkit is active)

- added: Guitar loops are working with first-note trigger correct now. another OSC starts the first note out of the range of the Guitar-OSC, the guitar sample would start on the correct beat-position as soon it is triggered.

- New Copy/Paste Module mode. it is now possible to copy a mode from one preset into another. Previously after loading a preset/initialize the copied data was not available anymore. You can also copy a module from one instance to another instance.

- optimized: DrumSeq ROLL Mode reverse Sample-EndSync. SampleStart/End is now taken into account. Slot pitch also affects the start position and Left neighbor event will also be taken into account.

- fixed: COMB KEY Filter issue where changing the DAMP Value while a note is activate did not work correct

- fixed: changing a granular sample while playing a note on that OSC will keep the envelope position instead of retriggering the envelope.

- fixed: wavetable overlay will be visible or not, now corresponding correct to the overlay-switch after preset load

- fixed: Preset Search filter "ARTIST": Artist is now listed correct for preset saved with 1.5.x

- fixed: Modulating the VINT Filter - Filter MOD: Parameter is now displayed correct

- fixed issue with wrong end-value in ONESHOT mode for the wavetable-envelope

- fixed expansion sorting issue in Soundbrowser

- fixed: ARP Display Beat-Index lines are listening to the speed modulation and will display triplet-beat when modulated from a normal beat

- fixed note hang when activating/deactivating Chorder-voices via macro buttons when the OSC uses an ARP.

- fixed Drumkit AUX output "click" sound when triggering notes too fast

- fixed Click sounds when using Oversamples FM on note-start

- fixed issue with cursor key in the sound-browser when the arp was visible

- fixed: OSC Endless Sub: when a note is held, changes of the octave/switch key are audible now.

- fixed issue with wavetable envelope sequencer and first note. the sequence was reset on a new note when the SYS-Page speed change mode is set to "JUMP"

- fixed Poly Legato mode when useing Note-Connection in ARP

- fixed note-hang when using legato and triggering note via midi keys and internal keyboard

- fixed Wavetable FIRST-Note trigger when using a pattern sequence in the Wavetable Envelope

Owned it two times and just manage to sell it, had to go crazy low. My own fault ofc since i like how fast and smooth it is when it comes to get ideas.. But not a single sound has made it to a final mix.. its just crap for what im doing. Totaly bought in to that analog filter shit talk, still sounds like a empty can. And thye messed up big time after it was cracked before the upgrade. think its even buggier that Nexus is at this time.. but i huge ass licking fan base still refuse to say anything bad about it even if 75% of them cant even open it..

lol yeah, I agree. Personally, I liked it so much I bought it couple years back on sale. It can sound very, very good and is really flexible, too. But, when they switched protection schemes I wrote them and told them I thought that was a mistake and have not upgraded since.

Yeah he does. IDGAF about this synth anymore, but I really want to see the devs getting owned. Perhaps that'll humble them for good. On the other hand, then they'll just move on to Elicenser and then we'll never see it ever again.

they don't, just for the fact that actual customers have to go through more pain than a pirate would, to have basically the same product. Most of the post-codemeter features are trash anyway.
They have no respect for people who pay for them, so I don't see how anyone would care if it gets cracked. At this point I just wish it does.
And you'll see, when it gets cracked (Be it with R2R, RET or VR), they'll rush v2, even if they stated that it's still very far away from being ready, and it will be a paid upgrade.

Previous version works fine in Logic, not in Live and it doesnt even show up in either AU or VST lists. The sounds are ok. its a freaking huge sounds library for such sounds.
I still think Spire and Serum can produce most if not all the sounds in this synth but thanks for all the uploaders for the effort.

I am a legit owner and I rarely use this synth. First of all, each instance takes 800 MB of RAM so more than 2-3 instances in a busy project is a big no-go.

Then, the almost unlimited amount of available tweaks, waveforms and samples makes it literally impossible to settle to a sound. That's why I generally prefer (as the user above) the "inferior" synths like Diva, Zebra, Serum.

On the other hand, I also own Falcon (this one scales it's memory footprint with the size of the preset, so small one-shot sampler presets take few MB).
Due to it's (somehow modular) architecture, I always manage to stop tweaking in a reasonable amount of time - each module must be added in order to be tried, so is not that tempting to add a filter or a new distortion just to see if it sounds "better".

Yes, Avenger is a sound designer's dream, but definitely not a musician's unless it is used as a preset machine. But then for presets there are countless of other synths. What Manuel does, is to do those immensely catchy sequences and demos, and get to the producers with no actual experience that think "wow this is what I need to make my best song". Of course, it never happens and in no time they find themselves with 20+ paid expansions and zero songs. Sounds familar? It was me for several years until 2 years ago...

In reality, you know you started to have a decent amount of experience when you find yourself using more and more stock plugins because by now you have so much ear training that you simply trust your ears. That's when finally is enjoying to make music.

OK, there will always be a handful of goto plugins (some syhts, some effects) but you'll find yourself not needing all waves, all pa, all melda, all sonnox, all slate, all NI and 50 synths to make your music.

The best tool one can have is one's ears and is the hardest tool to perfect. Work on it! Make 100 songs. Most of them will be sh!t, some of them will be catchy but unpolished. By the time you reach the 100th, your ears and your mixing technique will start to shine and you can go back and revisit and redo old catchy ideas. Cheers!

Thats exactly where i am now Bud. Ive been away from producing stuff for ard 4yrs. I was a download freak too. I had to try every plugin as soon as it was available here. I purchased dozens of magazines yearly 2012-2016 and watched hundreds of hours tutorials (I still do) and now i am back to making beats only to realise that Simplicity is the key if you know exactly what sound you are looking for. peace out!

avenger 1.4.10 worked for me in all programs. After upgrading to Monterey it doesn.t respond to midi in logic pro 10.7.5. The AU does work in Live and the VST works in both Cubase and Live. If press onscreen keyboard in Avenger it does respond in Logic.
