The absolute answer is always "No". if you re-enable sip after you finish installing it. it won't work.

But, here some question, why did you wan't to re-enable sip? is there any particular reason? or are there any of your software that will crash if sip is disabled?

SIP is a protection system. Your system could get vulnerable if you disable SIP.

Well, if you say so, then it means that my mac system is already in vulnerable state. because i disabled SIP on the first day i bought it in 2012.

First of all, Mountain Lion existed in 2012. Even if you had waited for Mavericks to come out in 2013, the substance of the story doesn't change: simply SIP didn't exist at all in those years. SIP was introduced in 2015 with El Capitan. So you are releasing misinformation that can certainly create problems for some still inexperienced users. SIP basically is a system to protect the part of the OS that should be kept private for root-level system operations. Let's say it's an additional umbrella that for the more experienced might seem a little paranoid, for some it's not at all. I can tell my experience as an experienced user, who precisely because I am an experienced user turns SIP on and off as needed when needed, knowing exactly what I am doing. Yet in spite of this, at a time where I had the machine with the SIP disabled, I installed a stupid, shameful, poorly programmed driver of a crappy Logitech mouse, to find my OS so compromised at the root of the system, that all I could do was reinstall it with an immense waste of time and sleepless nights in order to reestablish all the software registrations that inevitably have to be reactivated. That said, everyone, if truly aware and well informed, makes his own free choice....

Whoops, sorry, my mistake, that's clearly typo, what i really intended to type was " i bought it in 2016".

i mis-typed it to "2012" because i did bought my refurb* 2012 MBP on 2016.

About the option for someone to disable or not to disable sip, it's only about "did you know how to do it?", "did you realize the risk?", "did you know how to prevent the trouble afterward after disabling it?", "or should you never disable it?", etc, the lists goes on,

In a more simple way of thinking, if the uploader says "need to disable SIP" and you don't want to do it, then just don't use this software.

Yes basically the argument is that it depends on the level of control that you keep on your console, although when it damn well has to happen, it does happen.... LOL

you need to disable SIP to open cubase and if you enable it again it wont open.

Why ? thats something that V.R needs to clarify.

Presumably it's part of their hack and needs to be disabled. That goes for the similar hack of wavelab (which works perfectly). The only problem with Cubase 12 on an M1 (or any) mac is that it's STILL badly optimised (even with Rosetta disabled). I threw one instance of Acustica N4 on it and it was CRIPPLED. Useless. Great 'eye candy', but back to Reaper for me.

we have others daw and plugins cracked without this method.
