Hi, check your video card, if it is an intel HD3000 or lower it makes some graphics not show, I think it is because they do not support opengl 3.2 or higher.

Has all possible controls you might need in your work. And the controls have a wide range.
I did not test distortion features. On 'character' menu the tube choices have a -6dB/oct cutoff slope @5 kHz, so the wet effect is -12dB weaker @20kHz. The first two choices include 2nd and 3rd harmonic and the 'crisp' mode includes also the 4th. In 'classic' mode it renders 3rd harmonic only, with no cutoff whatsoever.

The sound is well defined, IR is very good, and the impact of oversampling on sound is impressive.

I think it neither holds up to VPRE-73, or some others.
Sadly there's no smooth transition from only a few separate harmonics to a clipper-like mess.

I wouldn't agree with this particular comparison (at least). It is obvious that RGSat+ has more options, the most important being the control of ratio of odd odd/even harmonics, and oversampling choice, not to mention plethora of distortion frills. It also has better quality filtering, resulting in a much better IR response, stable harmonics ratio, very good transient response and a better phase response than VPRE 73. For my taste it is better sounding too, particularly superior in the high range.
VPRE 73 shows signs of slight transient instability. Its controls practically sum up in gain control /named 'Gain'/ (which suddenly - at about '56' - without any warning turns into a two-band FIR EQ filter) and the 'fork' is just a slant control. Its priority is obviously the bass range (sounding a bit dull to me).

I'm having an issue with AAX and Pro Tools. The source audio starts to degrade/fart out periodically. If I deactivate/reactivate it, it behaves normally, but then the glitches return. I did mention it on TB's most recent IG post. It's a very promising plugin though if they sort it out. They make some great plugins.
