Heavily inspired by the most rare Romanian Fusion, Progressive Rock & Psychedelic tones & rhythms of the early to mid 70's. Recorded and processed thru tons of analog tube gear, vintage mics, natural room reverbs, EMT 140 plate, RE201 and tape machines to give each break the characteristic and texture of an obscure Eastern European record.

Using HQ mics and preamps we have recorded various instruments, from cajon, conga, djembe, shakers to classic acoustic drum set elements like snare, kick, toms, cymbals & hats. Also included is a selection of unexpected foley percussive sounds.

A collection of chopped drum breaks sampled from vinyls, at various sample rates, with the Boss SP-202 Dr Sample. From the machine these are then resampled through a PreSonus BlueTube DP v2 tube preamp, and chopped on the Roland SP-404A. Each of the 10 Kits have multiple variations of their kicks, snares and hats.

Mad Libs is a strange but impressive effort. Each of us creates 2 sounds that we associate with a given theme - all without any idea what the others have done. We then packed all these sounds into a small instrument, added some effects and options, and included 2 parallel slots with volume controls so you can play two instruments simultaneously.

The result is fantastic. It works and sounds great! It's a real Mad Lib: exciting, improvised and random. And it's a chance to take a peek into the musical brains!

ZEMENT 3 is the new edition of the instrument Cement2 from 2013. It is a simple generative pattern generator that is able to create complex harmonies. Easy but wonderful.

Besides many obligatory effects like reverb, delay, attack, lowpass, drive and length setting, the latter can now be adjusted per step in MARBLE typical manner. Also the length of the pattern can now vary. So everything is new. Everything contemporary.

This sound pack exclusively draws its origins from a variety of ALM Busy Circuit eurorack modules, prominently featuring the MCO Oscillator as the centerpiece. Notably, there are two primary sets of kick drums, both crafted entirely from the MCO, with the other incorporating the filter resonance from the Doepfer A-121-3 filter. In addition, chords, pads, and textures were shaped using Modal Electronic's wavetable synth Argon 8.

This pack explores the simple beauty of using resonating filters, feedback from tape echoes, and noises, as sources for an oscillator.  Each synthesizer’s filter imparts its’ own unique character, as do the noises generating from feedback echoes.  No oscillators where used — only resonating filter feedback was used to create these instruments.  White noise was introduced into the filters signal path to create further instability.
