100% agree with KookaBro, such a versatile and deep synth once you get under the skin.

I actually nearly wet my pants when I saw a new link for ALCHEMY, dreams of an AudioZ kinda 1.5 release if you get my meaning.

Make sure you pop on over to the Camel Audio site as there are a host of free video tutorials covering each of the various synthesis methods ALCHEMY is capable of.

I'm pretty sure ASSIGN did the main release, would like the soundbanks independent though.

- I never got to finish downloading because soooo much content!

This 'FIXED Version 1.25' is provided through 7 Links of ~ 400 MB
+ 1 Link of ~ 150 MB, therefore leading to a size of ~ 2.950 GB
(--> round it to 3 GB).
As these 8 parts are '.rar' archives, therefore compressed,
and if the process has been well done, you can estimate that
the uncompressed size of all these parts can lead to ~ 6 GB
(or even a bit more !). A compression ratio of ~ 50 % seems correct, isn't ? Perfect then !

Well, now simply check the size of the FULL 'Camel Alchemy' version
(not the 'Alchemy Player' solely) as depicted within the official website,
and as follows :

System Requirements :

Windows (or MAC)

XP / Vista / Win 7 / Win 8 (OSX 10.6 or later)
2GHz CPU
1GB RAM
6GB HD Space <--- Hey, here you have the similarity with the previous estimated 6 GB !

Thus, do you really think that providing not only a 'FIXED' version,
but also the FULL content (Factory Library), 'Team ASSiGN' would have taken (or lost) its time to patch the 'Alchemy Player' solely, when they were able to not only get the FULL version (with its Library),
but even more... to properly 'cracked' it (--> FIXED version !) ???

And as conclusion :

The 'Alchemy Player' is FREE to download for anybody and includes
a selection of the Factory Library of ~ 1 GB (Download size is ~ 562 MB),
as you can check it here too :

Has anyone got a link to just the factory samples - I downloaded this last time (it's now my favourite softsynth), but some of the samples seem to be missing so I always get a dialogue box telling me what's missing and I have to click to ignore them. Would love to hear the complete thing without the dialogue box hassle - it's an amazing, hugely underrated synth. I'm going to buy it when I can, but if anyone knows where the factory content is alone, that's be amazing meanwhile. Thanks everyone

the assign version doesn't have any extra SoundBanks its just the setup + fix + Factory soudbank ,

this pack was made by some other user(the extra soundbanks are not included in the retail version you have to buy them one by one) so forget your mathematic about GB

this question was debated many times and is very OLD

the only way they found to crack the protection was using the free player version! (free player doesn't have protection)

the free player is exacly like the full but dont let you write presets , and they made a fix for that

You're right, it simply contains the 'Alchemy' FULL version
(NOT the 'Alchemy Player') and its Factory Content (as stated within
the official 'Camel Audio' website --> 6 GB), therefore more or less
the 3 GB (the rounded size of the 8 '.rar' parts provided here by 'Billy.J').
It seems to me that's what I wrote in my previous comment, isn't ?

Well, so it must be the reason why 'Team ASSiGN' and particularly
'Mr. QUADRA' has written in the following '.nfo' :

'Alchemy v1.2.5' FIX2 Patch Only-ASSiGN

"Fixed in R2 :

This patch will solve the issue of "Demo expired" things.
- When you save the patch
- When you press random button
- etc...

Personally, I never have seen a program that is available as FREE download, as is the case for the 'Alchemy Player', issuing messages
like can be this : "Demo expired" !
So a FREE program, but expiring like can do a FULL program !?!...

you think too much :) i cant believe you are wastig time posting "ideas" you dont have a clue ,

first you dont have acess to the scene , you will never know what assign or other team say

if any assign member or scene member is watching this thread they are dying of laughing right now

keep your ideas just for you

this is player version with a fix and dont expect a new version becouse you can only do the same trick one time , they change the protections and fix all the little vulnerabilities

this kind of forums only destroy the audio scene thanks to the leaked VR pach 7 for protools 10 nobody will release the full crack!

cracking one app its not about who have the full app to crack (they all get the full apps since the first day they are released) its about beating the protection!

AIR team was a real team and can crack anything <-- they are the real ones who have prowd in their releases, unfortunately assign team was not so good and they used all kinds of tricks to make releases.

I have updated my from torrent downloaded version "Camel Audio Alchemy VSTi RTAS v1 25 x86 x64 Library 12n1 ASSiGN". And when i launch it within my daw the GUI shows Alchemy 1.25.0P by Team Assign and as far as i know P stands for 'player'.
