Thumbnails watch, custom posts, improved research
Evaluate editor, cursor in lister, individual bushes, signing, improved overwrite discussion etc.
Unicode titles Just about everywhere, extended titles (>259 figures), code supervisor for ftp and extensions, connect bare dirs, 64-bit context selection, fast document filtration (Ctrl S)
New: Hardware interface link via unique immediate move wire, incomplete department watch (Ctrl-Shift W), and several imporvements to ftp, synchronizing along with other capabilities
and a whole lot more
OS: Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7/8

Thank you for this Arctic!!

Total Commander is the 2nd best windows explorer filemanager replacement (and it sure needs one, seeing how crappy it is!)

(PS. The ultimate best is still Directory Opus -- plus it harkens back to my Amiga days, hehe! -- although more difficult to crack admittedly...)

never tried Directory Opus, will check, i am longtime user of TC, think goes back into the 90s as i found it on a computer and loved it more as the explorer.
If you want to supply something, you can. PM is open for that.

DirOpus and TC are quite similar. If you're used to TC and it completely satisfies your needs with its set of advanced features and customization, there's really no need for you to change I guess, and it might even be more of an annoyance than a benefit since you'd have to adapt to the (even slight) differences.
The only thing is that DirOpus allows even more customization and features than TC IIRC, which says sth since Tc is already quite furnished in that area!! As you mention, they also both go back to the 90s (1993 for TC under Windows, 1990 for DOpus under the Amiga) so such a longetivity should be proof enough that these are great tools that have made their mark and proven their worth by now!
I'd like to see Microsoft try and come up with anything remotely as useful and robust -- sth their coders are most likely incapable of, the poor sods...

Thanks for the Info. At 1st look I thought it was Directory Opus. I just started using D.O. and love it. As Articstorm said I just use it to manage files and sort samples. It did take me awhile to find a recently cracked version. I'm on v11.4

One of the few really must-have tools under Windows.
What a bummer that nothing comes close on Mac OSX!
There's CRAX, DCommander, ForkLift, DoubleCommander and many others, each has its own strengths, but none is as powerful, fast and robust as TC on Windows.
And then these incredible plugins!

All of you guys that are in Mac (like me) ...
Do you know that you can get WinCommander working in Mac through Wineskin ?!
BTW, do you know Path Finder Mac app (it's very close to WinCommander) ?!
